Done a search an cant find anything specific. Is there a 'how to' on replacing the silver inserts on a steering wheel with SMG paddles anywhere on the site? Thanks for any help

The SMG 'paddles' sit behind the wheel... do you mean the multi function steering wheel buttons, which sit within the silver / black inserts? If so, there is a retrofit guide here

torx screws at the back and use flathead screwdriver under the wheel edge of trim to unclip for the bottom one(big one)

No. Where the multi function buttons are on yours I have silver insets, but can't see how to get them off because of the SMG paddles. Do I have to take the whole wheel off to replace these silver inserts?
