Steering wheel controls

I currently have a steering wheel with no steering wheel controls.

Looking at getting a new steering wheel and then including steering wheel controls into it aswell.

Wheres the best place i can get just the control modules from? obviously bmw but any idea of how much?

I know it would probably be easier getting a wheel with the controls already in place but the ones iv been go on ebay etc are worn so id have to get them retrimmed anyways.

any pointers will be great!
 
I paid just that £180 from BMW in Sheffield. I have an Alpine Set up so need the steering wheel controls fitted then off to Source Audio to fit the interface. The problem with fitting them yourself is the air bag. I believe its not too hard a job but I am getting my local BMW indie to sort it...... and the CDV delete...... and the leaky rocker gasket! All worth it though.

I had to wait a while as looking at the BMW parts label on the box they came from Germany.

Airbag is not an issue - just remember to disconnect the battery - leave for 20 mins (30 to be on the safe side) and away you go
