Steering wheel buttons

Not really a problem but the buttons for changing music tracks seem upside down, to forward a track it's the bottom button with the facing down arrow and vice versa for selecting a previous track.

Anyone else noticed this or is it just mine?

I hav'nt noticed tbh as I've only just joined the same decade as everyone else and got an I phone plugged in but not been out in the car for for weeks to try it out. Ta very much, that makes perfect sense. :thumbsup:
 
I've been using the BMW system for so long it's second nature. It's just the norm to me.

It's logical when you think about it but it just goes against normal logic.

Plus as you drive a 35is you'll soon learn that the exhaust sounds so good.......you'll switch off the music just to hear it

The exhaust is brilliant true Angie, but just got an I phone at last and ridded the awful blackberry, plus an I tunes acct' up and running, too much novelty at the mo...!

I just realised that this was your thread John so I didn't need to tell you that at all :lol:

Ah I see, a new toy. I don't really think that novelty will wear off. My iPhone is responsible for 99% of the music listened to in my car.
 
Top button is to skip forward and bottom button to skip backwards on mine. I don't have iDrive. I can see how it would make sense to have it the other way around if you have iDrive as you would be scrolling down a list on the screen.

Yes had a play with the I phone plugged in now and it makes sense. It's all these new little quirks that I keep finding out about on the car, everyone has to discover new things at some point right?
