Even that badge was affected by the Scottish weather where the car resided.

How can you replace that? Is that glued in place?

Found the answer on the forum, seems a stick on is the only option

I’d be more inclined to get a used airbag with a good badge, the stick on ones are a risk in an accident.

What happens with the current badge during an airbag deployment?

Stick on over current badge is fine, looked and worked fine for me.

Those stick on ones are going no where once on. Make sure steering wheel level once you apply
there is no second chance

No, I just ordered a stick on. The badge at 30 degrees off centre is next week

Trust me, they don't come off. Make sure wheels and sterring wheel pointing straight ahead :D

I will get my son to do it. His ocd is even worse than mine, so if he does it wrong he will have to look at it each time he drives it

Has Tim bought any car slippers yet?

Does no-one do 'floating' steering wheel badges? It wouldn't surprise me.
