Hey guys. New E86 owner!
Beginning to learn all about my new to me used car and for the most part no major issues at 115k miles.
I did find out though that under hard braking when I naturally brace myself with the steering wheel I can actually accidentally push it in and away from me. I drive with the telescoping adjustment as close to me as possible.
Does anyone know if it’s possible or how to fix this issue? Is there some sort of tension adjustment on whatever locks the telescope/tilt mechanism in place or can you point me towards whatever part needs replacing if necessary?
