So after looking at very expensive mechanic bills I have fitted new control arm bushes, steering rack, inner and outer tie rods and coilovers.
However the right front coilover (at max ride height) clears the alloy by about 10mm, but the left front coilover is about 1mm off. Does anyone know why one alloy would be closer to the shocks than the other?
I have also adjust the camber to max negative? by pushing the struts as far in to the centre of the vehicle as they will go so that the shocks clear the alloys until I get spacers.
I have ordered 10mm hub centric spacers just to be safe.
Also I have a laser alignment booked as my alignment is so far out that if I turn left too much the car runs away with itself and turns faster and faster. However the steering is so much more responsive I can't believe I was driving it before!
