Steering pulls

Hi all, enjoying driving my 2.5 zed, but finding the steering is pulling mainly right, but sometimes left, when accelerating, bit like front wheel drive torque steer feels. is there anything specific that may be a known issue?

You may be experiencing tram lining, has your car still got the runflat tyres fitted? Most owners report much improved ride & steering feel when running normal tyres.

Interesting you should say that, but as I drove back a short while ago 'tramlining' or being deflected by the ruts is what appears to be happening. I'll check my tyres and see.

Yep, dunlop run flats. So I just have to put up with it until I need to replace them then? They are all pretty new unfortunately!

You could sell them in the classifieds on here, some people seem to love them or be unwilling to stray from oe spec. A 4 wheel alignment wouldn't be a bad idea either :o

Yep, I'd check your tyre pressures - (used to use 32 psi front and 34 rear on my 3.0si) - I found a few psi either way made a difference and it's a cheap first check. The main culprit is run flat tyres. I also get more steering interference when the tyre tread drops down past 4mm/3mm on the back.

Thanks for the replies, I'll check tyre pressures tomorrow. I notice the tyre pressure light was on when I looked at it for the first time last week, but it went out after short period of driving.
