steering pulling to left and right

Bought a 2.0 sport the other month and it's fine apart from the steering. At speed, it pulls the the left and then to the right. Does' t do it violently, it's as if the tracking is out but it pulls to the left and right. Any suggestions?

Is this on the motorway?

Are you running runflats?

Are you getting a knocking sound or any vibrations.

If it's on the motorway/dual carriage way0 it could be tramling as you dip in and out of the dints in the road. I get the same thing on badly worn roads. Many say that the RFTs exacerbate this.

I had similar issues, apart from the obvious like checking tyre pressures, tyres themselves (mine had 3 runflats and 1 standard tyre!) Also get all your bushes and joints checked. After you've checked these items, get a 4 wheel alignment check on a Hunter system. If you have runflat tyres, these might be the problem. Changing from runflats to standard tyres transformed my car.

My tracking was out by 10mm stupid potholes and the fact i can't see the bonnet and under compensated for a curb, that gave me the same symptoms, it could be our UK roads, they are a complete joke :headbang:

Actually you may have a point on that one because I'm still have the same issue. I've got to say though, if the road is smooth so is the Zed

Yep, the firm sidewalls of runflats and the geometry of the Zs suspension set up result is the tyres catching gently on the ruts in the road from years of traffic. You get used to it on motorways and gentle A roads... But having it twitch on your way round a corner at speed is more than a little unnerving. Ditch the runflats, get an alignment done

I had the same problem, then in a very short period got the amber brake light/DTC warning,

Ended up a combination of 3 things rear wishbone bushings were shot (switched out oem rubber bushings to a poly bushing), Badly out of lignement, and needed the Steering Angle Sensor calibrated.

The OEM run flats did this to mine when I first got it. The difference since swapping to Goodyear Eagle F1s has been like night and day.
