It seems Nissan plans on making driving even less involving

Pretty scary considering the number of electrical issues cars have nowadays, they eventually want no mechanical linkage for the steering

Not for me thanks. I can just imagine the GTR of 5 years from now driving itself around a track for you, what fun... :thumbsdown:

A step too far IMO. I wouldn't like to think in what conditions the 'fail-safe' cuts in. The very last thing I would ever want to lose is my steering if my car went into electrical self-destruct mode :thumbsdown:
