Steering Controls Adaptor

Had a good search about this but keep getting conflicting information...

Just changed the head unit to a Pioneer P88 and want to get the steering wheel controls working. Searching here seems to imply that you can't get a stalk adaptor, but the supplier of the Pioneer has spoken to Autoleads and they say to use CTSBM004.

Can anyone say conclusively if this will work or not? It's on a 2007 car.

Thanks!

I am looking into this myself, i want to retain all MSFW controls i.e. telephone and radio, this is a reply i have just received fron Incartec

Hello,
We can supply a canbus and steering control interface for any Alpine, Kenwood or Pioneer radio. Price is £59.99. Some wiring is required for this so a professional installer is recommended. Also you will need a harness adapter for £6.99.

Following on from Taz x's post, more info can be found here at incartec's website they appear to have a solution for just about every combination you can think of, I will hopefully get my leads next week and get my controls working having waited about 6 month's due to supply delays and being sent the wrong the leads (not from incartec).

I've had another email from Incartec, they say its not possible to use the steering wheel telephone controls on an after market head unit urghhhhhhhh

does any one know any different?
