Steering angle sensor replacement

Hi all

I think I’m going to have to replace the SAS on the 3.0

My attempts to fix the sensor have part worked but I feel a new sensor is the proper fix

I have read the pelican parts guide

I think this is for a z4m but assume it’s similar for a 3.0?

Anyone got any input or have done this before I delve in?

That guide covers it well , its not too difficult apart from your working in the foot well on your back .
When the column is out pin it so it cant spin / move as it will mess everything up . ie keep it in the centre if possible
