W WNeill Member Fife Oct 10, 2013 #2 I had this error message on a E39 530, if you have GT-1, or access to, then you can reset the sensor, as I did. Very simple, turn steering wheel from lock to lock, back to dead centre, then tell GT=1 that it is set. It can also throw up a DSC fault
