Hi All.
Just bought a Stebro back box from a fellow in the states. The Zed now sounds like a proper sports car. Nice deep factory tone, Just a lot louder but not annoyingly so :thumbsup: . And no chavy fart can rasp. But imagine it would drone to high heaven with an automatic trans. I have to admit that I couldn't find any descent sound files for that box on a stock 3.0si. So took a chance on the purchase. Glad I did it though. Spent a total of 350 quid to include postage and install.

I hope to find someone with the ability to record some sound files. Please don't hold your breath though. I live in the German boonies. No broadband in my village. Just 256K (if I'm lucky) via USB stick Sim card modem. The Germans are in the dark ages when it comes to internet connectivity.

I would also be interested to hear it. Does the system not have to be TUV compliant or do you just get note on your Fahrzugschein.
I know what you mean about Deutche internet. I'm a bit south of you (i think) and have mobile and internet issues here.

I obtained the stebro from a guy in Texas that was returning his si to stock spec. So it was used, But only had 2000 miles of use. This stebro was for sale on zpost. May want to PM him to see if still available. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=490191

Bandit. Not sure it's TUV approved. I'll plead "stupid foreigner" if the polizi ask. The polizi in our area have to deal with tens of thousands of young soldiers. And tend to concentrate on drinking/driving and fights at the pubs. If I have issues I may have to put on a flange to swap pipes for inspections. We do those inspections at a local military base. As I'm retired military, The Germans go fairly easy on me. If you come up to "K-Town" Let me know.

I just paid 75 Yo yo's to get my wheels and Eibachs on the 'schein so was curios about the exhaust.
Must admit the 'stupid auslander' thing has got me off the hook a couple times here, parking and missed a speed limit going out of town!
The military base here (Lahr, 10k north)) closed a while back so as an Englishman I am a rare beast around these parts.
The A5 and B3 are both within a few minutes of my place where you would be most welcome should you be passing, just give me a shout.
