Went to the dealer to day to mention the fog lights need changing due to condensation and he just booked it in. Going in for two new fog lights and to have to roof inspected, Its developed a leak on the drivers side window, might need a new seal or some thing.
I will be surprised if they swap them that day, they will try to dry them out, if that doesnt work they will replace, but have to order meaning a re visit.
mm, Will let you know what the out come is, He didn't say that. He did mention that I will need two new ones so hopefully they will fit them, there very good usually with warranty work.
Had one replaced, the other being replaced tomorrow, so you should be able to get them replaced under warranty, but might be a battle depend on dealer and relationship etc.
Interesting. Mine are very condensated and leaving lights on doesn't fix. Is this a known fault and therefore manufacturer warranty is extended, or does it need ti be a BMW approved used car warranty?
I was told by my dealer that 'the car isn't a new one so it's wear and tear'.... So I fixed them myself....they weren't just letting moisture in, but the reflectors were corroded too, so I had a full refurb on my hands.. Touch wood all still fine though
