Steam Forming Leather Seats

So, there is a karcher steamer in the garage.
I decided to use it on the leather seats on my 69000 mile 2012 e89

Using a damp towel, the steamer can be used to essentially iron out the creases in the leather.

It’s not 100% effective, as you can see, but it looks significantly better. I didn't do any before shots as I wasn't expecting to post this; but you can judge for yourselves. It’s a 14 year old car seat!

I thought it came out pretty well.

If you don’t have a big steamer you can use a clothes steamer, I would be careful with an iron... use lots of water and a damp towel if you do. Probably not the best idea, I can imagine it would burn the seats!

Was it worth it really on effort vs impact? No.
Do I feel satisfied it’s done? Yes.
Will it hold up? Time will tell.
