can you use one of those home steam cleaner things to deep clean the interior plastics and carpets in a car?

they show you on the adverts doing curtains/bathrooms/sofas/garden furniture/windows etc so why not the car?
 
I should think so but do it on a decent day with the roof off to let the steam/damp out and to let it dry quick. Just be careful because its 'steaming' hot :wink: you don't want to melt anything.
