I think this country is starting to be a lot like what you see on tv with the US president. Everybody loves him , thinks hes great, can do no wrong.
Boris is a t**t and is bumbling his way through being PM. I really dont see the attraction that everybody has for him thinking he is doing a great job.
This country is bust and he has played a major part in that happening.
People ask for evidence of things, the evidence is there if you look for it.
I wonder if there is any evidence that he is actually in ICU.
It wouldnt surprise me if there is nothing wrong with him and he is just hiding out of the way. Or taking one for the team and pretending he has it so the country will think "oh anybody can get this" Like when his dad volunteered to change his name to Ahmed to boost the amount of ethnics in politics.
:)

You’re a very sad and bitter man. And pretty nasty to boot.

What am I sad and bitter about?
Just because I have an opinion about someone, hardly nasty either.

And really boring as well. If you’ve posted this diatribe once you’ve posted it half a dozen times.

You don't really like people having strong opinions formulated by themselves do you mate?
Maybe you're the boring, sad and bitter individual here?

Just a thought, if Corbyn had got in and now had Corona virus, we would have Diane Abbot in charge.
Would that have suited you better Nictrix :|

This is not a message the prime minister should have been sending out to the people at a crucial and very dangerous time. Nobody deserves the virus but did the PM endanger peoples lives with these dumb comments.?? Silly old Boris....

Well thank f*ck for that!

But Chris you don't seem to live in the UK, or ever want to live in the UK, so in the context of this thread on a primarily UK based forum who really cares (aka gives a sh*t) what you think?

Just go back to the tulips petal.

So as you seem somewhat misinformed and vaguely interested about my domicile status, for your information I own 2 properties in the UK, hold a UK passport and spend 3 months every year in the UK.
So in the context of this thread who actually gives a sh!t about what you think about that....flower?

If this is true then everyone involved should be ashamed. This clapping business was wrong from the start, now it is ridiculous. It is part of the country's hysteria (similar to laying millions of flowers at a famous person's home/funeral). If people want to give Boris the 'Clap' let them, he will be back in hospital anyway if he gets it.

Do you mean like these nurses.
Perhaps they just stood in the wrong places and it's meant to say "WE'LL GET BORIS SOON". :o  . Regardless of people's thoughts of the man, hopefully he will fully recover.
(Well aware I'm not in the UK and am not expressing any opinion about your Govt).
At a time that everyone is being asked to 'come together' to help fight this thing, I'm staggered, and saddened at how vitriolic some of these comments have become. I've always thought this was a pretty good forum to visit to discuss all sorts of things, not just Z4 related, but this event has really stretched some members' ability to interact with any civility. :( .
Still, no one is forcing anyone else to participate here and the exit door's always open if it gets too uncomfortable for a delicate petal like me.

Ignor them and enjoy the rest of the forum Shane This whole thread is bit of a tinder box. I guess when people are bored and scarred, they have to find some way to let it out.

Why are we involving politics and individual political opinions when people of every creed, colour and political persuasion are dying.
Save the political point-scoring for when this is all over.

Probably because the politicians are in charge of trying to sort it out

I think you may be getting me confused with someone else. I don't remember writing anything like this before.

Blimey Lads, I'm not sure about Corona Virus, but there's some serious cases of Cabin Fever going on here.

I do find it sad that some posts in these threads seem to get personal, everyone has opinions and is encouraged to express those opinions, which is good cos it makes people with different opinions realise not everyone thinks the same. They don’t have to agree, but it’s important to respect other people’s beliefs.

When you don’t agree with someone else’s opinion, that’s when debate comes into it which is healthy, but shouldn’t plummet into personal insults.

When I started this thread it was to express my strong views and also hopefully my reason for those views, I hope I have clarified those reasons since.

I knew not everyone would agree, although I’m glad a lot of people do, some of them because, sadly, they have been directly affected by the true consequences of this disease, so it is very very real for them.

I have no reason to believe the Prime Minister is faking this in some way and I definitely don’t believe the majority of healthcare professionals would wish this on him. The years of underfunding in our public services has left us with our pants down, but in all honesty could we have ever been prepared fully. I fear that when this is over, those same public service workers, who are currently seen as hero’s, will be forgotten again, with pay freezes for another 10+ years and underfunding of their services again, because somehow we are going to have to recover and repay all the money this is costing us. Same things apply to the military when you consider what they do for us.

To me, staying at home is still strongly something I believe in, and perhaps it’s hypocritical of me, I fail to understand differing opinions that say they don’t think going outside matters, when they imply it’s for leisure reasons. Mat Hancock didn’t help matters last week when he said it’s ok to drive somewhere for a walk on your own...then in the same breath said stay at home...contradictory comments, which on logic say if you don’t come into contact with anyone else it is safe, but water down the overall message about staying at home and the underlying reasons.
