Startup Problems

Car won't stay cranked today. Anyone ever had a similar problem? I have mentioned this to the dealership before in the past, but they claimed there were no fault codes.

Faulty Coil pack - do a search for coil packs on here

As you have an 03 2.5, I'd have to agree with jamiez. Get your coils checked/replaced.

Started the car this morning with the same problems. Drove it to the service center and of course when I got there the car decided to run fine.

BMW service center just called me back- they said they are 80% sure that my air flow meter is going out. They are replacing it now.

Had the same problem recently when I started the car - I did mention to the service department that I thought I had a faulty coil, but they insisted that it was the air flow meter since they unhooked it and it didn't run rough like it's supposed to when not attached.
