Start issues after rain

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any ideas...

I have a 2006 Z4M coupe in oz and recently the car has been having issues with starting after it has rained.

The key will go in, all the lights will come on, radio/nav working, but the engine does not ignite when turned into position 3, not even a crank. It will start up eventually, say after 5 mins and then it will be fine.

Noticed that it only happens after rain/wet. Going to get it checked by BMW but anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure, but I think it could be down to a bad electrical connection to the starter motor since it doesn't even crank. That's a starting point to work back from possibly. Hope you get it sorted soon.
