Staring pedestrians

I've got to come out and be proud.
I love it when a pedestrian looks at your car as you pass then when you look in your rear view mirror they've turned to keep looking. Makes me actually smile to myself while I'm driving.
There I've said it. I'm out and it's a relief.
 
I notice that too.....and it feels good. Few of us have the noise of the car from standstill, always gets people turning, as the exhaust note rasps very high.....
 
yep, I also sneak a glance at the pedestrians :D Even better when young kids go "wow" to their mates/parents as you drive past. :thumbsup:
 
Yeah I made a cop turn and look after being stopped for a check for tax insurance etc.,

I took off with a lot of acceleration and she looked around ...but what could she do.. as far as I know there is no law against accelerating too fast once you're within the speed limit :D
 
There is in the UK, you would get what they call a section 59 for that.

really ...whats a section 59 then "accelerating too fast" ? how can they measure it, or is it down to the coppers discretion ?

yeah just googled it, what a load of old cobblers ! basically if the copper thinks you're causing distress, alarm, annoyance, careless or inconsiderate driving ...all very subjective !
 
It seems a very abused law indeed. I was just highlighting that in the UK, they could have done you for that as they would class it as "aggressive".

And if it was not that one, they could have done you for "racing" 8)

Either way - they always have something to throw at you.

Racing would be much better...at least I'd get some street cred :evil:
 
I dunno, I'd be looking at the driver, there's nothing better than a hot girl in a hot car...it kills two optical birds with one stone , if you get caught staring you can always claim you were looking at the car :lol:

(I've seen lots of Zeds :D Usually with a grey haired old coot behind the wheel)
