Had a few days off. So off for a surf this afternoon. Beautiful autumn day, not a cloud in the sky, bone dry roads. Crisp cool air, filling the radiator, to help eek a few extra ponies form the S54.

The run up to the North coast was a quick one. Very little traffic this time of year.

The run back this evening was epic. Crystal clear night sky, opening up the entire sky above the Zed. The staccato zing of the engine bouncing from bonnet to hedge row to eardrum, shattering the still night air. Crests, that were merely entertaining a few hours earlier, took on the shaded cloak of contorted demons, as the car skated across a surface with just enough ice cold moisture to bring the chassis to life and wire the driver to the car.

What a drive, what a car. :D
