I'd of killed for accommodation like when I was in the RN.
No sympathy John - you could have joined a real Service like the Air Force and flown everywhere.... nothing like getting some kip stretched out on a cargo pallet in the back of a Herc while getting to your destination.buzyg said:Nice lounge they live in.Smartbear said:Noticed these sitting patiently in my garage today as i was changing the wheels over on my zed, hopefully soon we can go back to our old lives :|

What was your accommodation like in the RN John? :?

The DC10s were bad enough. Why were the seats the wrong way around. :? Recon it was because the air force never knew which way they were supposed to be going.enzed4 said:No sympathy John - you could have joined a real Service like the Air Force and flown everywhere.... nothing like getting some kip stretched out on a cargo pallet in the back of a Herc while getting to your destination.buzyg said:Nice lounge they live in.Smartbear said:Noticed these sitting patiently in my garage today as i was changing the wheels over on my zed, hopefully soon we can go back to our old lives :|

Yeah, but in the army the officers send the men to battle.
In the Navy they all go together.
But in the RAF, the men send the officers![]()
Why would anyone join up seeking hardship?SiJar said:Don’t give me that the RAF are civilians in a uniform and the Navy never yompt anywhere nor lived in the field. You should try the army to understand what hardship is all about!
Any of the Services would give it to you if you went looking for it
