Hi , I was after some advise , what is the standard set up of wheels and types for my z4 . I am new to having the car and don't know if I have got the correct set up and the effects of having different wheels . I have got a 2004 se 3.0 car , the wheels that are currently fitted are mv3 which are 18 inch with 235 x 40 tyres . However I do think they should be different front to back and mine aren't . should I get the larger back wheels and will they fit , I am very new to this car and maybe should have done more research before I bought it lol . I do love the car ,just want to make sure I got it set up correctly.any advise pls

You may have the larger back wheels already & someone just decided to fit a "square" set of tyres , or you may have a set of reps in which case the tyres are fine as they are if the rims are around 8.5J
Only removing one front & one rear to see whats stamped on the reverse will clear things up for you

Thanks I will have s look this week end as I want to clean the caliper up . By the way I love your alloys they look the biz .

Wheel alignment may sometime help. You may ask why, simply wheel alignment has been said as preventive maintenance that's mistakenly overlooked by many owners. Wheel alignment not only prevents your vehicle from pulling to one side or the other, it also significantly improves the life of your tires, enhances braking performance and improves fuel economy. All these benefits lead to the most important result: improved safety.
