extra padding probably, center spoke on "m sport" wheel has an "m" logo on it.

That’s what I thought was the distinguishing detail was but wasn’t sure, I assume all M where’s have the little rectangle for the small M badge?

Sorry to hijack OP, lovely looking wheel!

It's a non-M wheel, but had been padded out to the thickness of an ///M if that makes sense.

///M wheels have a different shape lower plastic due to the differing diameter, it doesn't "wrap around" as much, as per the pic of one of mine below, plus of course the logo...

Just a quick note to add that some people have had refurbs done on their steering wheel and the padding still doesn't come out as thick as a sport/M wheel.

I bought a refurbished wheel on here once, it had extra padding and, whilst thicker than a standard wheel, it wasn't as thick as my original sport wheel.

If you could measure the diameter, it might help the sale?

Ahhhh I knew there was something obvious but couldn’t put my finger on it without looking side by side, bottom spoke looks shorter on //M wheel, at least I now know for future reference

Royals do three thickness options on a standard wheel, standard thickness, standard PLUS thickness ( this is the half way between standard and full ) and Full Thickness. They cannot make a standard wheel into an M wheel due to the actual steering wheel design differences ( trust me we have been down that route with Royals )

This wheel is full thickness .

Due to the trim design of the steering wheel trims Full thickness is as close as you can get to M thickness , to be accurate this is still a millimetre or so thinner than a standard M wheel but as close as you can get without the bottom trim not fitting correctly, or buying an M wheel itself . So I've edited the title too .

Also if anyone would prefer this wheel as an exchange I will do that for £250 quid with your wheel returned to me ( pay me £300 and I will refund you £50 on receipt of your wheel ) .must be MFSW for MFSW.

I can also do silver trims if you prefer rather than black and also standard trims and no MFSW if you prefer, or just the trims and no steering wheel . contact me for prices please . Exchange service on all options .

Same wheel with standard trims
