As per title. Needing a couple of front brake calipers. Mine are binding a bit. I know new ones can be had for around £40 each, but I'm getting married in November and the other half reckons I've spent enough. So if anyone has a couple taking up space and you want rid of, get in touch please.

What size buddy? I have a set from a 2003 3.0i sitting in the garage doing nothing. Need painting as one is blue and one isn't ;-) Yours for the cost of posting if they're any good.
I have a pair of 3.0si that need a refurb, not free but open to offers.
No idea, although I'm sure someone on here will know the relative sizes and if it's a straight swap. If it's an upgrade in size, I have a set of used discs as well that have plenty of life left in them yet, assuming the upgraded diameter will work.Sgr74 said:

So yes, 3.0 will be a viable upgrade if you're only a 2.5 however if your half way there (new calipers, pads, discs) I'd go the whole hog and get e46 330 brakes which are 325mm. That being said everyone is different, but that's my preference.
(I'm speaking in terms of brake disc for differentiation purposes... obviously different disc size means the caliper themselves are also different if you see what I mean)

New pads too I hope? I think it's good practice to replace pads with the disc? I do on mine...
Of course. Just ordered a calliper from eBay. Not told the wife-to-be. I'm sure she'll understand .....again.
