I have a 2008 Z4 M that has been giving me gas this summer. It has been stalling on acceleration, typically when i shift to 2nd gear and at about 2000 rpm. More common when warmed up. Shutting it off and restarting (while rolling in trafic) usually gets it back to normal for a while. Restarting is not an issue. Typically only on up-shift, slowing to 1k rpm in second and accelerating up to 3k works fine most of the time. No codes or light. I have tried fuel additives and changed the MAF sensor, no change.
Any thoughts on what it might be, my mechanic is suggesting the fuel pump but I think he's throughing darts at this point. Summer is dieing and I'd love to be able to drive it worry free.
