Stalling after oil change

This is going to sound crazy. Had oil change done by BMW they used 0/30. Now the car keeps.losing power and stalling. Rough idle too. I had a coworker with a 3-series that had this happen also, reverting back to 5-30 fixed his vehicle. Does anyone have any links to this problem so I can get dealership to redo oil change with 5/30 weight. I know it's just viscosity numbers just strange that it's doing this. Usually after it stalls let sit for a minute or two then can drive for a bit again. At least so far. I was able to get it to stall in my driveway just after revving it a few times. When it stalls the eml and engine light illuminate then when you restart they are gone. Also get no codes or pending codes.

Take it back to the garage

Make sure they did actually put new oil in after they drained the old stuff out. It wouldn't be the first time someone messed up like that.

You have another problem.
It’s not the 0-30 oil change that’s making this happen

If it was fine before they touched it, take it back to the garage.
