What tyre sizes are those?
Have you lowered it?
225/40 + 255/35
No but planning to!

Have you checked the springs that are on it?

From the pictures your car looks lowered about 30mm already, definitely check the springs before you buy new ones

No but it could go lower.
I’ll check on the weekend.

Good question.
2 reasons:
1. Cost - there are only 2 legitimate vendors in the UK that sell 437m reps (CM Wheels and Skidz) [There is a 3rd vendor in North London but I question their legitimacy]. Skidz sell 437m reps in a square set up and CM staggered, but Skidz were looking for an extra £150 including postage and packaging. (Plus I also managed to get a free set of Bimecc bolts from CM - I highly recommend them).
2. Conservatism / fear of change - I am used to driving with a staggered set up and will be taking the car to the Nurburgring this May. A square set up gives more oversteer and I guess there is always that fear of not catching a corner and subsequently being charged a grand just to fix a couple pieces of Armco. The staggered set up provides me with more predictably and thus less worry![]()

Sorry to revive and old thread but I recently saw on the forums how your Z4 is running a 245 front tire. I wanted to run a square setup on my car, so I was looking between a square setup of either 245/40/18 or 235/40/18. I was wondering if you had to modify anything in order to make the tires fit. I just recently did suspension and installed adjustable koni shocks but I'm on stock m-sport springs. I'm currently in the process of prepping the car for the canyons/track and wanted some help on this. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.not quite a square setup, but I run a 245/35 front and 255/35 rear on 18x8 and 8.5" rims for track work... wider fronts just gives a bit more neutrality to the steering when exiting corners and trying to get on the power - with narrow fronts the car would always want to drift wide on the exit.
oversteer is never a problem in the dry, trackday rubber at a 255 width is more than ample to keep the rears locked down. could still do with a bit more camber on the front though.
I didn't make any mods at all to mine... standard e85 3.0i, standard 8"/8.5" wheels. All i would say is, 245/35 on an 8" rim was probably the max, ideally it would have been on a 9" width rim.Sorry to revive and old thread but I recently saw on the forums how your Z4 is running a 245 front tire.
