Stag do, any ideas?

Look forward to feedback :) I like the german destinations, they're Very casual dressdown pub affairs. I should think it will be very messy!

As for seedy, ive had lots of fun in south america in my time so that isn't a problem for me :D
 
Had my stag do in Hong Kong (I was based there at the time). Fond memories of the Red Lips bar :thumbsup: .
Its a bit far away tho but I can recommend Amsterdam and Berlin (infact any German city is fun). If you want great beer then you have to go to the Czech Republic :thumbsup:

My Dad is coming on mine, no need to breach the father / son attitude to seedy things at this stage in life...if any!!!
 
I went to Vegas for my best mate stag do! Best 5 day in my life. I came back with a VERy light wallet, but worth every penny (or should I say cent)! :thumbsup:

A mate bought three very large bits of stone and we camped in his field. Beer, rollers, spades, levers, ropes, utter lethal madness involving three ton blocks, when we left there was a henge and nobody even lost a finger.
 
Went to Prague for one a couple of years back which was good fun and really quite cheap.

Last year did one in Bristol with dirt Buggy racing, clay pigeon shooting etc, it was enjoyable but by the time you added up the cost of activities etc. Prague looked good value.

Friend of mine went to one in Vegas last year... they went to a fancy bar up the top of one of the hotels and were oblivious to the lovely ladies continually topping their glasses with the expensive stuff... the tab for the 11 of them came to just over $10k lol

True story

a mate of mines cousin went on a stag do in belgium, met a blonde in a bar and never returned for wedding :poke: :headbang:

anyways we are about to start planning my brother stag

Been to Amsterdam, Blackpool & Newcastle & Newquay for stag weekends & enjoyed them all, some cracking suggestions on this thread aswell, you can't beat a good weekend away with the lads...not that I get away anymore though!
 
Thailand!!

I had my stag do in Amsterdam with my mates who all have OCD......things didn't get messy!! :P
 
Been to quite a few recently - I'm in the zone, age-wise. Riga in Latvia has been my favourite, closely followed by Cardiff.
 
My second one was in Amsterdam, about 5 years ago.

A great time was had by all, as far as I remember.
 
I see the states of stag do's in Newquay !!!Why waste all that money. Have a good night out locally which everyone can afford, or is it you have more money than sence. :poke:
 
Reedster, I totally see what your saying. No doubt the things you put emphasis on could well turn out an anti climax and cost more than the escapade is worth.

But, I have had some terrific fun on stag do's and unless you've been hairing around eastern european mountains with your mates in old bangers, and getting soaped up in lesbian shower scenes then maybe you don't understand how much fun they can be!

The costs as said before almost equal that of a trip to a uk city after train fares hotels and activities.
 
I went to Cheltenham races for the day. It was great I had a sill costume. Given a dirty pint can't remember a huge part of the day. I do remember I had far fewer clothes on than my striped did!!

I have been camping, away to far flung places, they have all been fun. As long as you have your best buddies it makes no difference. As long as its what you want to do. I didn't go away as my mates have kids or are where getting married them selves. So we could all do with saving a few quid.

Although I don't go far it was amazing. And the boys made it all about me. And that's all it really needs.

Almost 1 year in for me I am away in Greece right now. Celebrating our first anniversary with my beautiful wife. :)
 
Dreamer each to their own. Its just beyond me blowing loads on such a do. Saying that it will be interesting to see what my son does when he gets married next year. If common sence is in his genes or in his jeans. :wink:

I felt the same I went for a nice day out. It's not like we won't ever see our mates after marriage.
