Hi all

Recently bought a 2006 3.0si roadster. Only 45k miles and pretty mint so was chuffed to find it. LOVE it so far. Done the sound generator mod and added a stubby arial so far.

Nearly bought a boxster s but pleased I made the right choice :D

Seems a great forum so look forward to making good use of it :)

Nice looking roady :) unusual way of adding weight to boot area though  presuming for more grip into rear tyres ? not seen that before

Haha, it was a pic to send to my mate who thought I'd never get golf bats in the boot. Actually fit in easier than they do in my daily driver Golf GTD

Very nice and welcome.

Where abouts in Staffs.? There a good few of us in the county.

Hi, thanks

I live just outside Stafford town itself

Will need a service and possibly some brake work done later in the summer. You know any good local specialists/garages?

Cheers

I use my village garage in Shenstone so Perhaps a bit far to travel.

Do all my cars Inc JagXF and Jeeps, MOT's and the family also run a huge tyre shop next door with state of art Hunter alignment system.

Suits me well and never go anywhere else.

Welcome to the forum, my brother is looking for a toy/weekend car and I suggested a Z, he said he needs to get a set of golf bats in, so probably not. I can now tell him his bats will fit

They fit in amazingly easily - no need to take the woods out which I have to in the Golf (ironically!)

Tell him to buy one quick he won't regret it

We have a Z4 and a Boxster S in the household...

Both are very good... for us, the zed is 90% of the car for 60% of the money.

The zed is definitely better value for money, cheaper to maintain and enthusiasts aren't quite so 'excitable' about keeping them standard. Porsche enthusiasts can be quite keen about keeping cars 100% standard...

The Boxster S would eat a zed alive around a circuit, but driving within the limits of good old British roads, the above 90% of the car for 60% of the money statement rings true :D

Good choice - enjoy it! 8)

Hi Tim
I am from Cannock, going to try a BMW Specialist in Four Ashes so not far from you. They are two partners both main dealer trained one with 25 years exp and the other 15 years. Welcome to the forum

Hi and welcome.

Thanks for the pics - very nice. You had a near miss with the Boxster - good job you had an outbreak of common sense!

Enjoy :driving:
