Hello to all.

Been on here in the background searching bits and bobs. Viewed 3 in total and put a deposit on one but the twat pulled out saying he wanted more money and another dealer advertised it at on price and then put the price up by £750 because he had three phonecalls about it in 2 days but am so glad i never went for any of them as i Just purchased a one owner Black 06 plate with 5k miles. Few scratches on the alloys from the transporter guy being a careless bastard with the retaining straps and the previous owner putting a scuff in the side boalster but apart form that it is fantastic condition for its age. Been serviced three times and had its brake fluid change. Had a good drive up and managed 32.4 mpg over 435 miles. But my god its fast and that engine note is amazing. Ill get some photos up asap. I detail cars so ill try and take as manny pictures as possible. I detailed the rear o/s wheel today using GTechnique products but never took any photos as it took me around an hour to get the wheel off. It was seized on. Another three to do though! Oh and polished the exhaust tips and boxes. Look like new. Thanks for all the help guys

Ah then it isn't the one I was thinking of on the other thread LOL. What colour is the interior?

Sounds great

are u serious are u sure its not 22.4. Man u have something under your foot. I would be happy to get 22.4. I barely manage 20mpg. but thats me.

anyway congrats on the car. its an awesome beast. I love it. my longest ever car.

U must appease the pic whores on here st33ly, that's the most impotent thing above all else.

Welcome Steely - what you really need is a new pair of hoofs, so that you can more easily partake of some beans :D 33 mpg ? *gibber*

Thanks for the welcome. I know i know guys but i was wanting to see what the best MPG was and that was it. It was on a very long run of 400 plus miles as well. Its red leather don't know exactly what its called. I'll get pics up asap. Just that the weather is crap

Oh and it does 130 in fourth with some revs to go. And the high gear grunt is addictive. How many liters is in the tank?

Thanks mate cheers. Pics ill come when i get a chance to clean it. Been sitting in the garage since i got it but the bloody snow is preventing me from cleaning it.

Some pics of todays cleaning activities but bloody photobucket is only allowing me to upload one photo at a time!!!!

Ok to start with. the wheels. Car was jacked up sided by side and the same process was completed per wheel.

Removed wheel.
Washed front and back using BH Sufex HD inc tyres front and back
AS Tardis applied and worked a treat.
Rinsed and given a quick dry.
Then front and back clayed using Megs quick detailer and elite medium clay
Dried again.
Polished front and back using GTechnique P1/ C4 polish compound Using MF pad and DoDo Juice buff Daddy on a Autoglym compounding pad.
Buffed off using a MF
Then sealed the wheels using GTechnique C5 wheel armor. wiped off immediately as per instructions.

All shinny and and new looking. Some of the scratches on the rear alloys where to deep to remove and will require a wheel refurb but dont see the point to be honest. (Bloody transport delivery drivers that dont give a monkeys with the retaining straps.)

Next was the caliper and hub.
Cleaned using BH sufex degreaser and Tardis. Once wiped down the caliper was sealed with the wheel armour again. Looks like a decent result.

Then was the exhaust polished using wire wool and autosol. Looks allot neater now.

Some pics below.

looking good ........although still no pics of the whole car

did those cleaning products come as some kind of 'kit' mate?

No mate i bought about £80 worth of GTech stuff last year. Its brillant stuff however not used it on the paintwork yet. I was mega pissed of yesterday as i knocked over the C5 bottle and 70% of it spilled on the floor. Thats about £28 worth of gear down the drain. Not a happy bunny. If you need anymore info mate let me know.
