ST XTA coil overs

Hi all,

Just taken the coilovers off, they do need a clean and the paint has flaked off the springs but all the seals are perfect and work 100%.

Ran there for about 20,000 miles and never had an issue, ride is nice and you can fully adjust both the rears and fronts,

Asking £400. Paid £1200 and they are sill over £1200 now.

Hi, yes they do, they will all e85/e86

I’m not planning to be down your way anytime soon,

I imaging postage wouldn’t be cheap due to weight,. I’d do £420 posted.

Hi mate, had these delivered. There’s quite a lot of grease or oil on the adjacent the fronts. Was this just to aid removal? Before I run into any issues, just want to 100% make sure they’re not leaking... the adjuster is also a bit battered which wasn’t mentioned!



Also is there only one adjustment knob? It’s bent?

Hi Kis,

Yeah only ever came with one adjuster which the mechanic managed bend the first time he set them up.

The oil is just WD40. I’ve had them adjusted a fair few times over the 2 years when running different wheels and ride heights.

The mechanic advised to give them a good squirt every few months to make sure nothing sized and made it harder to adjust.

The car was actually serviced and MOT’d a week before I stripped it and there was no issues.
