SRS Airbag Control Module

Looking to replace suspected water damaged SRS Control Module from my 2005 BMW Z4 3.0i.

All the electrics started playing up and thanks to the forum I managed to narrow it down to the SRS module, which sits just behind the handbrake lever in the centre tunnel. I’ve now removed that and the car is working fine, other that the airbags won’t deploy in an accident 😬

If someone is breaking a z4 of the same year I would be interested an then I can send off to get the module reset.

Thanks

Adam

Hope you get one soon. Just out of interest did you see/find where the water was coming from? I had the same problem and would like to make sure water does not damage my module again.

I wish I could tell you mate but I leant my car to a friend to look after as I was working abroad. He says he doesn’t think any did so a can’t say that was even the cause for sure. Where did you manage to get your replacement from? The stealers?

I got it from a seller on this forum - just got lucky. They do come up on ebay, but you have to make sure you get one that matches your current one. The BMW dealers want circa £650 to around £800 for them - so that was a no go for me.
Good Luck

I've got one. Chuck me a pm it's from a m coupe though. What's the part number, I'll check.
