Anyone else in the firing line.

My front garden right now... Before the storm. Tomorrow morning should be interesting.

Yeah, often a storm in a tea cup.
However 1987 i was living on Felixstowe sea front and we were with out power for 7 days
and as a penisular, cut off.

Now on Folkestone sea front.
My French windows are south facing, should i be concerned :? :P :D

Probably after burning some sheep in lorries first, so you will be fine for cooked mutton when you do get cut off.

It's a red alert as the Southerners have never had a storm before :)

As I will be pretty much in the eye it's mild and breezy :)

Yeah, so did all the people in West Sussex who woke up in Deal
Hours of fun running around in the dark trying to stop all the metal dustbins (remember those?) from crashing into my pride and joy Capri.

Spoken as someone who has obviously never been to Deal!

I just turn my back for 5 minutes (i.e. a full train driver's shift) and I see that West Sussex is getting abused

3 x power packs and a portable light charged. Heated a tank of hot water. Carton of ciggies.
Ton of chocolate. I am prepared.
