Squeek from hand brake cable

Basically when i get out of my car I get a squeek from the handbrake cable area. Had this on my previous car but it wne away on it's own. Just got my new Z and it's even worse, any ideas? If not it's under warranty so i could get the dealer to have a look

Not sure I will try this tomorrow, it didn't do it this morning or yesterday but did it tonight (colder weather)

I have this on mine as well. When I got the car I thought a rear shock mount was gone. Was informed by BMW that it is a "Feature". Can be reduced by loosing the handbrake, but I'd prefer to have a tight handbrake and a squeak.
