Ha ok...
Well, disregard my last post RE squeak/whistle from the exhaust area, it’s now apparent the exhaust is fine and the constant (but slight) whistle/squeal is coming from around the rear wheels/diff area most noticeable on the passenger side but also on the driver side.

Any ideas what could be causing it? Car under warranty so I'll get them to check out - just wondered if anyone had thoughts?

Thanks

Fuel pumps all whine to some extent :) I upgraded the fuel pump on my last car to a 255Gallon per hour Walbro and that was quite intrusive until I sound deadended the rear of the car.

A sudden increase in the loudness can be a sign of impending failure.

Mine has a whining noise coming from what sounds like the rear nearside (left), certainly very similar to your issue - sounds like it's coming from the exhaust area. Will the dealer fix this FOC? I don't want to put it in, for them to tell me I have to pay. The noise is actually quite intrusive after a while.
