Squeaky rattle at 2,000 rpm

Hi

I've had a 2012 Z4 20i since new and recently I have noticed a squeaky rattle coming from the centre of the console between 1700 and 2300 RPM, same place the fuel pump/injectors whine comes from on some cars. It does it in pretty much every gear and only in that rev range. I'm pretty sure its a recent noise - I'm well used to all the creeks and rattles in my car!

Can anyone else hear this or is it a trip to the dealer?

I've been playing around with this and its closer to 1,800rpm when the noise starts. It only makes the noise once the car has warmed up, never while the engine is still cold and its while i have my foot down, not when cruising.
