are any of the pulleys/idlers prone to squeaking?
my car has developed a very noticable whirry/squeal type noise. it not dead loud or even permanent but you can hear it when you listen. i had to cruise around looking for my lost cat the last few days so its all been low speed 2nd gear crawling along, sounds vey much like a bearing in a pulley. its not exhaust/induction whistle.
