Squeak from the rear when on uneven ground

Hi

Just bough a 2007 2.5si sport, it's a great car and can not fault it so far...

However when I'm driving with the roof down I can hear a very faith squeak when going over eneven ground. What could this be?

I thought it could be the exhaust box that requires tightening at the back?

Following with interest as I think I can hear the same squeak when going over very shallow potholes. Coincidentally mine is also a 2.5si sport.

I have a feeling it is either a bush or a problem with the damper. I'm only on 33,000 miles so think it is age related rather than wear and tear.

My mot is booked in for the 26th so will ask them to have a look. My squeak seems to be coming from the left hand rear side - the exhausts on the left so you may be onto something.

I'll let you know what the crack is after my mot if your still searching for it and if they find anything

I can't imagine it is something big so I'll check those two.

Would be great to hear what the garage say, I'm sure it'll be a relatively easy fix.

If you can hear the squeak over your shoulder it will most I'll be covered by the above post.The pics have gone ,so it's a bit vague.I had the same squeak and some carefully placed sticky Velcro sorted it.
