Squeak from engine bay

Give the zed a bit of a run on Sunday and noticed when the engine got up to temp the was a slight squeak/squeal coming from what seemed like the serpentine belt. It wasn’t a belt slipping noise more like a dry bearing. Any body had this before?

its definitely coming from the belt area. I guess I’ll have to take the belt of and spin the pulleys and see if I can hear anything.

Possibly the water pump if it occurs when up to temperature. Recently replaced mine. The bearings were shot at. Have you any coolant loss ?

no. No coolant loss. It only does it for a split second when you blip the throttle.
