spyder halogen headlights connectors

Hi everybody,
i'm finally busy rebuilding my car, i'm in the process of installing the spyder chrome smoked headlights.
I bought these secondhand and the connector is the same as the original but there is also a wire with a fuse soldered in between wich was cutoff, apparently this is necessary for the angel eyes to work?
It's a white wire and it should be connected between one of the other wires or soldered toghether???
Can anyone help me or guide me how to connect these lights in the right way, i want to do most of the reparation myself ;-)

when i go to some websites they all say the same in the features: Extra wiring may be required for the extra angel light and LED application.
I suppose that this is the extra wire which i have here? but don't know how to connect, or where in between this should be connected or soldered.

Makes sense because the oem cars don't have angels... probably need to be hooked up to the sidelights.

have to know it for the evening...
her are some pics of the lights, and the wire with the fuse, how to connect this is the question...

the last picure is a whire which has been cutoff...

red to +ve (your sidelight feed)

black to a good grounding area.

If the white wire is a fuse then it'll sit inline with the red wire and the +ve feed

Cant see your photos due to ipad on a crap train wifi.

Surely where you connect depends on what you want it to do. Sidelight feed will make it sidelights. If you want AE connect to an ignition feed.

Def do as suggested and bench test first.

Good old 9v batteries.

cj10jeeper, makes a good point about choosing the right feed to take.

If it was me personally, I would just have it hooked up to the sidelights as I have my lights on all the time while driving (see and be seen)

Coming from two small smart cars (both black) I used to have a lot of people pulling out infront etc so it was a safety thing for me.
