Sprinting & Hill-Climbing an E85

Had my 2006 2.5 Si Sport a couple of months so getting used to it. It replaces my MG ZR that iI did the Scottish Sprint and Hill-Climb championship in this year in the up to 1,400cc Road Car class, winning the class in the sprint part and second in the hill-climb part.

Does anyone else use a Z4 for sprinting etc or any other competition, particularly keeping it as a road car? Doesn't seem to be anything in the last couple of years on the Forum.

Looking for advice, especially on tyres and pressures and any other mods.

Personally I'd be looking at upgrading the brakes and seats first.

I took mine up a closed stone wall lined hill once. Scared the pooh out of me. You just can't see where the inside front of the car is. So any left hand hair pins are blind faith.

Or it may just be I wasn't very good at it. :wink:
