Definately as long as you get one from a reputable supplier like ESS for example. A proper remap won't give you massive power increases so avoid anyone who advertises massive gains. The whole point of a remap is to improve the whole driving experience. It will smooth out the power curve, improve throttle response, get rid of the preinstalled flat spots etc as well as an increase in torque and hp THROUGHOUT THE RANGE, not just a massive shot of fuel and ignition advance at one point to produce overinflated figures for advertising purposes! A good remap can also give you a slight improvement in MPG. In my opinion it's well worth the investment. If you have a lot of engine mods you'll need a live map designed specifically for your car but for basic mods like intake and exhaust a standard generic remap is fine.
