lovely day today - took zed out - thought I heard a tinkling noise when I went over a bump - got home stuck my hand through the rear spokes of my 108's and pull out a bit of spring - not even rusty but clean break - only a week ago passed MOT with no advisories !!!
Anyway have arranged for car to go in for a new set of Eibach springs .
Have been thinking of going back to a Lotus so will put it up for sale when the new springs have been fitted - heads up to anyone who may be looking for a totally original stock car ( 2004 3.0 SE ) Sterling grey in stunning unmarked condition inside and out - 1 previous owner and 29650 miles only with FBMWSH except for last oil service done by a local performance car specialist - full documentation file containing full service record ,all old mot's . receipts ( including original invoice from BMW ) 2 keys plus the emergency plastic key .
Spec includes M seats , Bluetooth , zenons , fully refurbed 108's with matching as new Bridgestone RFT's and OEM windbreak.
Will put together a decent advert with pics as soon as new springs fitted .
