Have just broken a spring, and now thinking about lowering .May be to eibach 30mm lower on my 3.0si se but will it be to rough on english roads,have looked through forum 50/50 at the mo anyone done this on this car?
 
yes i have, i have a 3.0ise roadster and i installed the eibachs for a further 15mm drop over the standard 3.0 sports supension. im also running 19's, and all i can say is that its no worse than i had 18's with run flat tyres and the normal suspension.

before the lowering springs were installed i always drove carefully dodging pot holes and took any speed bumps at a careful speed, so it hasnt really bothered me. maybe if i did lots of miles in the z it would bother me more?

a few others have also fitted these, and i am sure they will be along soon with their findings.....
 
on that basis then i cant see an issue with going lower with 17" rims.
 
I've recently had Eibachs fitted and find the ride is fine on 18's.
As has been said they only lower the 3.0 15mm.
 
Really don't know how you all survive with Eibachs. Unless I'm going at 1mph mine grounds very slightly every time I leave home over a speed-bump. I can't even get into my grandparents place and have to park on the road.
 
I want to get some Eibachs on mine - having had my previous cars lowered - I think the sport still has a far too big gap in the arches - however my insurance are being a bit of a pain with them - so worth checking with them first.
 
Must be a day for it, Just removed my back wheels for an intensive arch clean and guess what, yep, both of them, snapped. :cry:
