Advice needed.
I purchased my 3.0si Sport Auto Coupe last year having previously owned a 2.5 roadster. It had been serviced at a decent Indy at the time and came with Service History. It was registered in Jan 2007
It's not my daily driver and I have used it for runs to Spa, Silverstone, Le Mans and other weekend sports car events during 2014 with no issues at all.
I ditched the run flats, de badged, stubby and gloss black grills,private plate and loads of polish and fun during 2014.
This year I have Spa, Le Mans, Nurburgring for WEC and a trip down to the Mille Miglia already booked.
I was thinking of buying CSL this year as I have two tone 108s but love the look with the CSLs.
However, I am thinking I ought to spend that cash on a thorough service and wonder if there is a definitive list that I should get done to ensure as best as possible a year where I can just get in and drive.
I have 49k on the clock and have found a decent Indy (with fellow Z4 recommendations) and thought I might drop it off and then pick it up all done and peace of mind especially as Mrs W is doing the Mille Miglia ( Rome why wouldn't she?)
I was thinking of all the things like;
Brake pads and brake fluid change, oil (Gearbox and engine)filters, plugs, but what about bushes and anything technical around the suspension?
Anything else?
Also with a long trip down to Rome I was thinking of a retro fit of cruise control. I have seen posts on this but they seem to refer to earlier cars than mine and being an auto with paddles is there any issues in fitting this?
I am not much good under the bonnet and as my hair gets greyer I am more of a cruiser than a racer these days.
So as its a wet lousy evening any lists would be appreciated!
