Spring Clean, wheels off !

my car needed a clean today so i got all ambitious and decided to use the maguires APC i got the other week take the wheels off and clean the arches too, mixed the APC 4:1 used a brush to agitate rinsed with the hose before drying and dressing with Autoglym tyre dressing applied with a sponge, really liked the APC top product!!

did the wheels too inside and out, then the body, no pictures though i'm afraid !!

Ooh nice and clean. Your calipers are looking a bit dull though, is the paint wearing off?

No, I lifted at the rear and did one side at a time

Wondermike the calipers are painted matt grey, they are on my to do list!!

APC's good isn't it? I used it on the interior on my two cars and it's great. Haven't done my wheel arches yet.

All this is on my to do list, as well as cleaning up all the aluminium parts in the engine.

It is beginning to worry me that I look at pics like these and think "ooooooo - I want mine to look like that"

Probably as well I don't own a jack and axle stands yet, else I would be out there next week when I am on holiday... I already eat dirty up to the shoulder trying to clean behind the wheel :roll:
