Nice job, interested to know what you used in the engine compartment.

I used some GT-85 basically similar stuff to WD40 but has more silicon content. Normally used for pushbikes lol
Any prep work before you applied it or was that used to clean the engine bay?

So unless I have a rotary polisher then I shouldn't really clay my car?

I was going to clay, wash again and then polish, wax, seal etc etc...

What you've planned will be fine and will improve the look of your car, only issue i can see is wax then seal, imo its always the other way round, other than that go for it i'd say, just don't use an over aggressive clay

Nope was literally it, just don't spray directly onto the engine, put on a microfibre cloth and wipe down the engine bay.

Yup, agree with this, sealant is man made and will last longer than wax, so by sealing and then wax you are getting even more protection for longer.

great write up! i also learnt a few things and have just ordered over £50 worth of cleaning products that u used to test to add to what ive already started collecting since owning the Z haha
