I'm lucky enough to be able to use my Zed virtually every day however the disadvantage of using it as a daily driver if the very real fear of stone chips.

I've seen this stuff recommended on another forum - has anyone tried it on their Zed?

Almost sounds too good to be true?! Interested also as pick up a new car in September as a daily drive.

I've seen reviews of it over the last few years - seems quite interesting for garage queens that are only used in the dry, but no good for a DD as it's water soluble and will wash off in the rain

Yes, it seems to be aimed at more specific one-off uses, e.g. apply before a road trip, or a car show, or a track day, then wash off the next time you wash the car. It doesn't seem to be pitched as a long-term solution, as opposed to (for example) the 3M clear bra type products

And before anyone says it - apparently they don't 'yellow' anymore. That was the glue that went yellow, not the plastic, and the glue has been improved so it stays clear now.
I'd like to get something like the 3M product, but the paint would have to be perfect first, and that's probably never going to happen with my Z4.

I tried the 3M spray which certainly works. Only issue I had was it was way too cold when I applied it so looked crap close up.

I have some left and will be doing my side skirts near the rear wheels soon to protect.
