I did 700 miles last weekend and i wasnt spotted.... pah

Yeah I felt the same way when me & my Dad travelled all round the UK & Scotland (1000 miles). I mean come on, how difficult is it to NOT notice a Z4 with the steering wheel on the correct side!?

Nice gentleman
look at that - im a nice gentleman! Nice car K3ab!

I felt very embarrassed by my filthy Zed (its done 850 miles in last fortnight and not had time to wash!) next to your very nice looking very shiny Zed!

Plus as you noticed mines two cylinders short of an engine... :(

Was nice to follow such a nice car along the A33!

saw a very cool Z4M Coupe with CSL's on saturday morning (approx 7am) coming out of manchester heading towards the m62. Plate B16 *** - i was in the wife's cooperS in case it was anybody on here thinking i was some sort of car jacker keeping up with it to jack it.

Silver grey Z4MC on matt black wheels, and black 3.0Si Coupe at the PistonHeads meet on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz world.

Silver grey 07 Z4MR east bound A3 this morning, 8.20am just after Ripley Services.

This one at the 'Ring on 13-Jun.

Nutter! :o No helmet.
I've never used a helmet on touristenfahrten days - trackdays there yes, but not touristenfahrten. Although if you have a roll-cage, I'd say it was compulsory.

It should be driven like it's a public road - which it is - and thus you should wear the appropriate garb for public road driving - after all I don't see anyone wearing a helmet on any of the forum cruises and there is arguably more traffic on those events than I see at the 'Ring (plus it helps that they're all going the same way).

I also feel that the helmet dulls your senses a bit (particularly vision & hearing) and makes you push harder - which is not necessarily a good thing at the 'Ring.
